The Kwara state chapter of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has announced the appointment of Prince Tunji Moronfoye as its new Publicity Secretary.
The new party spokesman who is a former Kwara State commissioner for information made the appointment public on Tuesday,in a facebook post, disclosing that he was elected through a consensus on Monday.
The post reads, “Good morning my dear friends, I have the honor to inform you that I have been elected through consensus on 04/04/2022, to emerge as the new Kwara state Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Public Relations officer (PRO).
“I am replacing a dear Brother, Friend and colleague, the Late ‘Tunde Ashaolu who sadly passed on, a few months back. May his gentle soul continue to rest in perfect peace. (Amen.)
“I am to resume work immediately to my new assignment as the PDP state Publicity Secretary. Thank you all, for your prayers and support. I promise to do my best to make my Party, friends and family proud.
“I want to Thank God, my Leader Dr. ‘Bukola Saraki and our party elders for this rare opportunity. I promise to discharge my duties to the best of my ability. ” He said.
Moronfoye will be replacing the late Tunde Ashaolu who passed away on the 27th of February after suffering a cardiac arrest in Abuja, as the New party spokesperson.
