Popular Medical practitioner,Baki dies in Ilorin

72 hour after the death of late Justice Titi Daibu,another sudden death has again hit the people of Ilorin Emirate with the demise of the Managing Director of Ilorin Clinic, Oloje, Dr. AbdulGaniyu Baki.

It was gathered that, the medical practitioner was admitted in a hospital on Monday for treatment before death laid his cold hands on him at around 4pm on Thursday.

National Pilot learnt that the remain of Baki was taken to his family house, Popo-Giwa, Ile Oyan (Mosalasi Gogoro), Ilorin,where the Janaza took place.

The late Dr Baki ,the founder of the well known Baki Clinic, located at Oloje, Ilorin, was also a politician during his lifetime.

The kwara PDP gubernatorial candidate, Abdullah Yaman in his statement released by aides Wahab Oba said Baki’s death was a great loss to the state.

“It was tough and devastating expressing my sympathy on the death of a friend with whom, a few days ago, I visited several places and shared thoughts on several issues affecting our state. Losing someone so close like Dr Baki is so hard and so painful.

“He was such a passionate compatriot who was committed to the growth and development of the state and, especially, youth empowerment.

“May Almighty Allah comfort his families, friends and associates and reward Dr Baki with Aljanatul firdaos. “
