Kwara state Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has been accused of telling lies by the Deputy Chief of Staff to former Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed, Leke Ogungbe in the aftermath of the governor’s recent statement over the International Aviation College, Ilorin on the Radio.
Ogungbe who also served as the Director representing Government House on the Board of Aviation college dismissed the governor’s allegation of misappropriation which he levelled against the administration of the former Governor, Bukola Saraki.
He said, “Kwara state government took a bond to provide many infrastructure for the state in the time of Bukola Saraki’s administration. Among those were Aviation college, KWASU , Kwara Diagnostics etc.
“In the life of the same regime, the bond was fully paid. Ask anyone who is knowledgeable about lending, you will be told that facilities must be cleaned out within a period of time. ”
He also noted that the governor’s false claims which he described as executive lies, has called his decency into question.
“Is there no more decency in politics? Are there no more good people in Kwara who can say the truth? These are Executive lies.
“Is the ghost of Bukola Saraki still hunting you after almost four years? You guys should sit down and face your fears because at the end of the day, it will soon be over.
“You cannot decree into existence what you didn’t do. Unfortunately, the voters will have their say and their way.” he said.
