CHAN Eagles: Yusuf got it wrong this time!

Salisu Yusuf is one coach I hold in high esteem for the impact he has made in the domestic league over time however his recent choice of players for CHAN beats my imagination.
From goalkeepers to the strikers, I believe some of the aged players named should have been dropped for younger and promising ones from the NPFL and NNL.
For a competition that is aimed at developing young players, it will be counterproductive for any nation to present players in their late 20s and early 30s.
For this reason, the likes of Rabiu Ibrahim, Jamiu Alimi (both Kano Pillars) and Super Eagles reserve goalkeeper, Ikechukwu should have been sacrificed for younger ones.
For a tourney like CHAN, our coaches must ensure they parade a squad with an average age of 23 and not 28 or 30, this way, the future of our senior national team will be guaranteed.
