Christians reminded of God’s abiding grace

Christians have again been charged to let the grace of God be sufficient in their lives and worship Him wholeheartedly.
A Cleric, Prophet Gideon Adeoye gave the charge yesterday in his sermon delivered at the 33rd anniversary of Rhoda Band of Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Ilorin District Headquarters.
Speaking on the theme “Celebration of His grace”, Prophet Adeoye called on believers to be strong and have faith in God to enjoy His grace.
The Cleric implored Christians to desist from evil deeds and live life of holiness unto God.
He prayed for positive change in the lives of those that worship God in truth and spirit.
In a related development, Reverend James Adedoyin of ECWA, Ita Elepa, Ilorin has urged Christians to emulate the exemplary life of biblical David.
Speaking on the Topic: “David: A man after God’s heart”, he described King David, as a beloved and the most respected man in the history of Israel.
Reverend Adedoyin explained that King David was referred to as man after God’s heart because of the characters he possessed and divine favour.
The Cleric called on Christians to emulate the characters of King David, which include obedience to God, not to be self centered, live to please only God, think about God and the people around and allow the fear of God to be their watchwords.

ย …Urged to pray for leaders
Christians have been charged to always pray for God’s divine direction for the leadership of the country.
Prophet Peter Oladipo of the C &S Movement Church, lpetu-lgbomina, Kwara State gave the charge in his sermon on Sunday.
ย He charged those in position of authority to allow the fear of God to take absolute control of their lives, think about people around them and make life meaningful for the people.
Pastor Taiye Aransiola of United Evangelical Miracle Church Off Yidi Road Ilorin who spoke on the Topic “The Reason For Holiness” challenged Christians to be holy in all their ways.
He stressed that it is only when believers live righteously that they can be rewarded with eternal life.
Pastor Aremu Abioye of the Ark of God Covenant Faith Bible Ministry, Amayo also implored Christians to serve God whole-heartedly through praises and thanksgiving.
He stated that God inhabits the praise of his people, saying that thanksgiving can make God bestow Christians with divine blessings.
Prophet Femi Emmanuel of the Agbara Olorun lgbani Wasibe Worldwide, Gbagede cautioned Christians against act that is not good for the child of God but exhibit good habit.
He pointed out that Christians can through their character and conduct evangelise and win souls to God.
The cleric urged them to be Christ-like in their dealing with people of other faiths in order to draw them into the Kingdom of God.
