Love your neighbour, Christians charged

 

Christians have again been implored to love their neighbours as exemplified by Jesus Christ to ensure a peaceful society.

A Cleric, Pastor Ademola Popoola gave the charge yesterday in his sermon delivered at the 52nd anniversary of Ifeloju Band, Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Ilorin District Headquarters.

Pastor Popoola who spoke on the theme “righteousness and love” described love as the ultimate and unique law that God desire and cherish.

The Cleric implored Christians to be righteous and show love to others.

He explained that the problem of good leadership would be over if Nigerians love themselves and live a righteous life.

Pastor Popoola called on Christians to live righteous life to ensure an egalitarian society.

Speaking on the theme: “Enlargement” Reverend Joseph Agboluaje of Second ECWA Shao noted that stagnation in life was not God’s plan for everyone, adding that fruitfulness and multiplication is what God want all to experience in life.

Reverend Agboluaje explained that to experience expansion in both physical and spiritual life, Christians must take step of faith, ready to take risk, be ready to learn from others, obedience to God’s law and the law of the land and imbibe the spirit of prayer.

Pastor Taiye Aransiola of United Evangelical Miracle Church, off Yidi road, Ilorin who spoke on the topic “do it well” noted that the quality of what comes out of a person is the picture of the quality of such personality and character.

Pastor Aransiola called on Christians to be focused, dedicated, unique and  strive to do well whatever they embark upon.

Prophet Peter Kolawole Williams of the C.A.C, Faith Chapel along Asa-dam road, ilorin warned Christians to shun evil acts and abide by God’s commandments.

Prophet Williams urged Nigerians to look unto God for way of their present challenges.

Pastor Aremu Abioye of the Ark of God Covenant Faith Bible Ministry, Amayo emphasised the need for Christians to make the Holy book their companion.

Also, the District Minister in charge of Kwara and Kogi of the Gospel Apostolic Church, Pipeline road, Ilorin, Pastor kehinde Ikupolati appealed to Christians to give all glory to God as no one can share His glory.
