Late Nigeria music god Fela Kuti’s son, Femi has decried the influx of people into the Nigerian music industry.
During a recent interview, he said there will be chaos in the music industry if everybody is just joining music for the fame and fortune.
When he was asked about the future of music industry, the afrobeat legend said:“We must insist to teach our children music properly unless there would be pandemonium in the industry. Everybody is just about the fame, everybody is just joining music for the fame
“Everybody is just all about the fame. Fame is the least and fortune and wealth. Music is very godly it’s so important that if it’s not done properly.
“I fear that we are going to have a very sad future in the industry. That’s why I keep insisting young boys and girls should learn a musical instrument.”
