Kwara Utd commiserate with Ifeanyi Ubah FC over robbery attack

 

Kwara United have commiserated with the management and members of NPFL
side FC Ifeanyi Ubah over their recent attack by suspected armed
robbers.
FC Ifeanyi Ubah were on Friday, November 29, attacked near Okene in
Kogi state while traveling to Kano to honor their NPFL Week 6
encounter with Jigawa Golden Stars.
The shocking attack left some members of the traveling squad injured
and they are currently receiving treatment in the hospital.
While condemning the attack, Kwara United chairman Kumbi Titiloye
sympathized with FC Ifeanyi Ubah and thank God that no life was lost.
“It’s unfortunate that the attack came, but thanks to the Almighty
that no one was killed in the barbaric incident.
“We wish all the people who got injured quick recovery and we also
want to sympathize with the owner of the club Senator Ubah for this
unfortunate scene,” Kumbi Titiloye explained.
Meanwhile, Kwara United will be traveling to Nnewi to face FC Ifeanyi
Ubah in an NPFL match on December 15.
Last two seasons when Ifeanyi Ubah and Kwara United met in Nnewi, the
Harmony Boys were beaten 1-0.
