Tell Nigerians I’m profoundly grateful, Sadiq Daba speaks from UK

 

Veteran actor and broadcaster, Sadiq Daba who is currently in London for treatment has thanked Nigerians for the help they gave to him concerning his health.
Sadiq said ‘…please help me tell Nigerians that I am profoundly grateful for giving me hope to live again. Nigerians saved my life: my family and I remain eternally grateful.’
While lamenting the cost of treatment in the United Kingdom, he further appreciated Dr Joe Okei Odumakin, Soni Irabor and others for saving his life
‘These treatments are very expensive sha. Where I forget the money? Na God send you, Soni Irabor, Dr Joe Okei Odumakin and compassionate Nigerians to me o.
Doctors placed me, effective immediately, on hormone treatments; Azuka, can you believe that?: no spread found….your prayers WORKED!!! Will be here for another two weeks for observation and then head home to recuperate!!!!.’ he said
Recall that Sadiq Daba was battling with leukaemia and prostate cancer, while he was on the production of Kunle Afolayan’s acclaimed movie, “October 1” which earned him the ‘Best Actor’ award at the Africa Movie Academy Awards for his role as “Inspector Waziri” in 2015.
According to Azuka Jebose, Sadiq Daba said that what the doctors told him in Nigeria was quite different from what the UK doctors are saying he said ‘I was told in Nigeria that it had spread to other organs of my body. But all tests here by Specialists came back negative, with regards to the spread. It can be treated with drugs and injections. Also, the doctors, after tests for Leukemia, concluded that it is in remission. God Bless Nigerians for this gift of life. Abeg help me thank them. I will live. My wife has been dancing none stop o. I go call you again on Monday”. “Sadiq my brother, the power of the people is the power of God. Continue to lively up your health. Monday is moments away. We wait, excitedly.”
