My target is to take Kwara Utd out of relegation – Bala
New Coach of Kwara United Football Club of Ilorin, Abubakar Bala has promised to design a technical programme that would give the Club new playing direction with a view to ensuring the success of the Club.
Bala stated this yesterday at the unveiling ceremony held at the Conference Room of Indoor Sports Council, Ilorin.
He promised to redouble his commitment to put the Club at vantage position and sustain its hard earned promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League.
The former Tornadoes appealed to Kwarans to be patient and prayerful as he rebuilds the Club to winning ways.
The experience coach believes that the task though difficult but it achievable.
In his words, “I have finally agreed to put pen to paper for Kwara united in a year deal from tomorrow (Thursday) which makes me the club coach till the end of the season. In the agreement, the target is to get the Harmony boys off the relegation zone.”
“Right from the beginning of our discussion I told them that the players welfare is paramount and they are already doing something because they just paid two months salaries and promise to do more”.
The new Technical Adviser expressed delight over the opportunity to head Kwara United and sought the support of all stakeholders to succeed.
Responding, Chairman of Kwara United Football Club, Prince Oladimeji Thompson said the event calls for sober reflection as the Club was working hard to restore the glory of Kwara United.
Oladimeji said the Club was working tenaciously with stakeholders in arriving at the decision in the spirit of inclusive administration.
