Ramadan: Practice teachings of Qur’an, Badmas charges

In order to earn Almighty Allah’s reward during the forthcoming Ramadan month, the Imam of Al-Hilal Mosque, Prof. Lanre Badmas has charged Muslims to practice the dictates of God in the Holy Qur’an.
The cleric noted this during Jumaat Sermon last Friday even as he stressed that Muslims should take advantage of the month to do what is good, right and godly in order to obtain the reward and blessing that follows Ramadan month.
Badmas added that Ramadan is an integral part of one’s service to God saying it is mandated for all Muslims who have the fear of Allah at heart to observe it.
He however charged Muslim to engage their times with remembrance of Allah rather than watching films or participating in all manners games.
“Muslims should endeavor to observe Nafilats in the night, praying to God and reading of Holy Quran… doing well to people during the month attracts special reward from Allah.
“During Ramadan, individuals should remember to beseech God for his divine protections over our dear country, against all manners of evil doers who have made kidnappings, killings their sustaining business,โ Badmas stressed.
The clergyman further admonished that Muslims should plan not to ignore Tarawey Salats adding that the females folks should care for their homes in order to obtain Salat and Nafilat during the period.
