KWSG inaugurates taskforce to monitor activities of coaching centers
Towards ensuring qualitative education, the Kwara State government has inaugurated a taskforce saddled with mandate to monitor activities of privately owned advanced coaching centres and tertiary institutions in the state.
While inaugurating the team on Tuesday in his office, the state commissioner for Tertiary Education, Science and Technology, in the state, Barrister Abdullahi Alikinla charged the team to live up to expectation in the discharge of their responsibilities.
According to him, this development became expedient in order to ensure data base planning, control and supervision of the private educational institutions in the state.
Alikinla also charged members of the team to ensure that all existing tertiary institutions and advanced coaching centres in the state are captured in the database.
Responding, Chairman of the team, Mr. Rotimi Banigbe lauded the state government for the opportunity given to members of the team to serve in that capacity.
He promised that the taskforce team would justify the confidence reposed in them.
Other members of the taskforce are; Ayinla Lugman as Secretary, Tunde Jimoh, Ibrahim Musa, Ibrahim Badmus and Adebayo.
