The Magistrate court sitting in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital has remanded one Zaka Alao for sexual assault on a 13-year-old girl.
The case was on Tuesday transferred to Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (CIID) from Divisional Police Station, Alapa and referred to Anti Human Trafficking , Women and Children Protection Unit.
The Police First Information Report (FIR) revealed that one Alabi Abdullahi reported Zaka Alao of Alapa to have abducted his 13-yr- old daughter.
It further revealed that Alao had abducted his daughter (name withheld) since Thursday (October 4, 2018).
He added that when the teenage girl was asked, she confessed that Alao had sexual intercourse with her.
The magistrate court has remanded Alao in prison custody while the case was adjourned to October 17, 2018.
