Generally speaking, Every Kwarans that has attained the age require for the position is entitle to be governor of Kwara State. The three senatorial district are qualify to aspired for the position for the governor. According to Nigeria construction, a governor who have served for a term reserved right t to want to continue and all those who are oppose him reserved a right to compete with him. All the agitators asking for position are welcome only God knows who will be the governor.
Most specifically, the democracy we practice in Nigeria is the democracy that required some measure of consensus. Kwara Central, North South must reach out for all other part of the state for his or her mission to materialize. No one part can make it with out others.
“Agitators should more realistic about the situation on ground. The situation on ground is about sitting governor who also want to go for second term. My suggestion is that people should talk to themselves the politicians too talk among themselves. If you put somebody down from Kwara North, he alone can not win. In the same way Kwara South, Central can not win alone with out other support. Our politicians should get more serious and analyse critically and weigh their chances and stop disturbing peace of the State. For me Kwarans will decide who they want.
“One factor that remains constant is that who ever want to be governor must recognized the existence of sitting governor with all the resources, incumbency. Who ever want to compete with the sitting governor need to double their efforts. Is not by making releases, talking here and there that will deliver rather than planning ahead and realized that you have a formidable opponent. We have seen Instances where sitting governor have defeated and where the sitting governor won. I’m not a God that decide but the point I’m making weather Kwara South, North, Central need to work hard.
