Kwara IPAC elects new exco, tomorrow

The Kwara State chapter of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) will elect its new executives tomorrow (Friday), this medium can report.
IPAC is an umbrella body for all the political parties in the state and holds its election annually.
The election which is scheduled to hold at the premises of the state headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will commence around 10:00am.
The exercise is expected to be conducted by representatives of the national officers of some of the political parties that made up the council to be monitored by INEC officers.
The Kwara state chairman of IPAC who is also the state chairman of the Labour Party, Comrade AbdulMumini AbdulKareem Onagun confirmed the development to this reporter in a telephone chat Wednesday adding that everything is set towards having a successful exercise.
Onagun emerged the chairman of the body last year in an exercise that was conducted on Friday, 15 September, 2017 at INEC.
He took over from Alhaji AbdurRahman Omotosho who also doubles as the Kwara State chairman of KOWA party.
Mr Abolude Samuel is the present secretary of the council.
Other officers that emerged last year included Vice Chairman, Kayode Olabanji of the People Progressive Party (PPP), Assistant Secretary, Ajisafe Adeshina of Action Democratic Party (ADP), Financial Secretary, Bankole Adedeji Yusuf of Democratic Peoples Congress (DPC), and PRO, Abdullahi Bada, Young Democratic Party (YDP) and Treasurer, Prince Inawole Eyitayo of Democratic Alternative (DA), among others.
