There was a mild drama in the banking hall of Guaranty Trust Bank PLC, Tanke branch, Ilorin, Kwara State on Wednesday when customers and security personnel engaged in face-off over queue
Pilot Business observed that the bank’s security personnel were giving some customers preferential treatment, which irked others. Instead of directing such customers to join the existing queues, a security man led them to the counter to get their transactions done immediately
This did not go down well with people who had endured the long wait on the queue. This led to a quarrel between the security men on duty and the customers. The noise attracted other bank officials, who quickly intervened to calm nerves of the customers.
