How popular OAP, Tosyn Bucknor, predicted her death

Reports have emerged about how popular Inspiration FM’s On-Air Personality, OAP, Oluwatosin ‘Tosyn’ Bucknor, predicted her death.
The 37-year-old radio personality was reportedly found dead by her husband, a French national, Aurelien Boyer on Monday night.
Reports had it that Olufunke Bucknor, sister to the late OAP revealed that her sister died due to complications from sickle cell.
However, the late OAP had written a poem which had gone viral, few days before her death, urging her friends and family not to cry when she’s gone but shed tears for themselves.
Tosyn also said that she felt no fear for death and that’s why she lived her life the way she did.
The poem reads:”Prize I’ve earned since my birth, my vow to leave a lasting voice after I was. I look into the future and see me cease, I feel no fear, my face won’t even cease. My steps on this earth, a testament to life leaving this place filled with strife. Don’t cry for me, shed tears for yourself for each date you acquire gives you a little less. Now I know why I live the way I do any why my mistakes, no second look. If I live my life according to their pace what’s my price in life’s meaningless race? Too much odds stacked against this fierce soul, so each hour, all I do is attain my goals. Spent a lot of days searching for purpose, Then I put my thoughts into poetry and prose. This is why I was put in this world, be a voice, Put emotions in words. For every tear I shed and times my eye smiled, someone will have known every option I tried. This cowardly heart felt fear not death Prize I’ve earned since my birth. My vow to leave a lasting voice after I was Find a loyal number to keep fighting my cause. Since the demise of popular Inspiration FM’s On-Air Personality, OAP, Oluwatosin ‘Tosyn’ Bucknor, on Monday, there has been outpour of tributes from family, friends and colleague.
Wale Adigun, a former colleague at Top Radio, wrote on his Twitter account,”Tosyn Bucknor,so full of life, excitement and always willing to lend a helping hand. This is so devastating!!

Also, Onome Obruthe, husband of her sister Funke Obruthe-Bucknor, who confirmed the death of the petite media personality, said:โIt is very sad,โ during a phone chat.

Tosyn Bucknor was born on August 15, 1981, to Mr Segun and Mrs Sola Bucknor. It may interest you to know that Tosyn was born in a cab. The media personality made this known during an interview. Tosyn Bucknor’s father, Segun Bucknor was a renowned journalist and prominent musician known for his Soul music style in the 70s.
Education
Many might have known her for her beautiful voice on the radio waves but she was also a trained lawyer. Tosyn attended Fountain Nursery and Primary School, Queens’ College, Yaba. She then gained admission into the University of Lagos where she studied Law before proceeding to the Nigerian Law School, Lagos.
Career and Awards
Tosyn Bucknor worked in a number of radio stations in her almost one decade in the media industry. She started off her career with Eko 89.7 Fm from where she moved to Cool FM. She later joined Top FM where she worked for seven years before joining Inspiration FM. Aside from being a radio host, Tosyn was a writer, singer, songwriter and had featured in soaps like, “Now We Are Married”, “Tinsel” and a couple of others. She has won many awards, including the Nigerian Broadcaster’s award, Future Awards, Exquisite Lady of the year and others.
Marriage
Tosyn Bucknor got married to her French husband, Aurรฉlien Boyer in 2015. The couple had dated for two years prior to their wedding. After a lavish traditional wedding held in Nigeria, the couple took their white wedding to France where they had an intimate ceremony.
Death
Monday, November 19, 2018, Tosyn Bucknor passed away at the age of 37. The news broke on Tuesday, November 20, 2018.
According to her sister and event planner, Funke Bucknor, she died due to complications from sickle cell anaemia.
