CSMC, Ilorin district holds adult harvest, thanksgiving

The Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church (CSMC), Ilorin District Headquarters, yesterday held its 2018 Adult Harvest and Thanksgiving Service.
The well attended programme featured varieties of soul enriching and spiritual rejuvenating activities.
There was also thanksgiving and special prayers for individuals, the church and the nation.
In his sermon at the ceremony, a Cleric, Prophet Ademola Oloruntobi called on Christians to take appropriate step and necessary action to win souls for the Kingdom of God in order to enjoy abundant blessing.
Speaking on the theme “Faith for abundant harvest”, the Cleric implored believers to be obedient, resilient and believe in God to experience the desired breakthrough.
He urged Christians to always give thanks to God for His blessings, protection and mercy at all times and in all circumstances.
Prophet Oloruntobi who is the Pastor -in- charge of Restoration Chapel, C & S Movement Church, Iwo road, Ibadan, Oyo State reminded Nigerians on the need to be patriotic for the nation to be great.
Similarly, Christians especially Members of the Methodist Church Nigeria, Diocese of Kwara State, have been enjoined to be united and steadfast in prayer for the progress and development of the Church and the Nation in general.
The outgoing Bishop of Kwara Diocese, Most Reverend Obafemi Bamidele Adeleye who stated this at a send-forth service, organised by the Methodist Church, Taiwo Isale, Ilorin explained that with prayer nothing is impossible for God to do for His people.
Most Reverend Adeleye, who is now the new Archbishop of Lagos Mainland, expressed gratitude to God Almighty and Kwara diocese for their co-operation during his tenure, urging them to extend the gesture to his successor.
He advised the new Archbishop to study and understand members of the Church, in order to move the diocese to the next level.
