Frustration as Union Bank ATM seize customers’ cards

Bank customers experienced frustration as a malfunctioning Automated Teller Machine (ATM) installed at the Union Bank, Challenge branch, Ilorin, Kwara State, recently seized their debit cards.
Findings by Pilot Business revealed that only one out of the four machines was dispensing cash at the time of the visit.
The customers who tried their luck with the other machines were disappointed as they could not get their transactions done and had their cards stucked in the ATMs.
Minutes later one of the cards came out, but the customer was uncertain if the transaction was completed as he was unable to access his account balance via the machine.
The security personnel who was standing around the area at the time, explained to the agitated customers that the problem was to due poor network service, assuring that the challenge would be resolved.
