Pray for Nigeria, Christians tasked

Nigerians have again been called upon to pray fervently for the nation at this period, for it to overcome its challenges.

A Cleric, Pastor Segun James of Christ Apostolic Church, Oke Imole, Amoyo, Kwara State, made the call yesterday in his sermon.

Pastor Segun James said with prayers, the country would move to greater height.

In his message, Pastor Isaac Gbemiga Adesina of Kingdom Seed Assembly, Sapati Ile phase2,  llorin, Kwara State called on Nigerians to focus on God and embrace peace for a better nation.

Pastor Adesina advised Christians to look onto God at all times and not trust human beings who that could fail them at anytime.

In her sermon, Prophetess Cecilia lbrahim of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Olorun-Isadi, Gaa- Imam, llorin admonished Nigerians to always look unto God for divine intervention in whatever situation as He his mighty to meet their needs.

Pastor Aremu Abioye of the Ark of God Covenant Faith Bible Ministry, Amoyo in his pre-7th convention sermon themed “Jesus,” he appealed to  Christians to cast their burden on God as He is the  only one who can  give total freedom.

Pastor ldowu Constain of the New Life Holy Trinity Chapel, Gaa-Akanbi, Ilorin called on Nigerians to let the fear of   God be paramount in their heart and life.

Pastor Kayode Omotosho of the C.A.C. Anu Sogo Lorimi, Kilanko village, Ilorin urged political leaders in the country to show love to the masses  and implement policies that would have direct impact on their wellbeings and allow God to give them direction.


…urged to intercede for leaders

Christians have been implored to always intercede on behalf of leaders for God to give them divine direction in running affairs of the nation.

Prophet Peter Oladipo of the Cherubim and  Seraphim Movement Church, Ipetu-lgbomina gave the charge in his sermon, recently.

He  emphasised the need for Nigerians to continue to pray for  their leaders and for divine intervention in the challenges confronting the country.

In his message themed “His ways”, Pastor Taiye Aransiola of the United Evangelical Miracle Church, off yidi Road, Ilorin, implored Christians to be sensitive to the Holy spirit, and present themselves to God as a living sacrifice.

Pastor Aransiola charged them to seek Him diligently in His word and prayer.

Speaking on the Topic “Commissioned from the Womb”, the Minister- in- charge of the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, City of Grace Obbo road, Ilorin, Reverend Kelechi Odii noted that everybody has a divine purpose and mission on earth, that was determined before their birth by God.

He  called on the people to repent and move closer to God to accomplish their mission on earth.

Prophet Peter Kolawole Williams of the C. A. C Faith Chapel along Asa-Dam road, Ilorin in his sermon  with the theme “Jehovah Rapha”, urged Christians to  look unto God as a great provider as all powers belong to Him.

Also, Prophet Aremu Abioye of the Ark of of God Covenant Faith Bible Ministry, Amoyo cautioned Christians against acts that could delay God’s glory to come to past in their life.

Pastor ldowu Constain of the New Life Holy Trinity Chapel, Gaa Akanbi, ilorin implored youths to remain focused to ensure a better future for the nation.
