The Imam of Ajakuta mosque, Adewole, Ilorin, Kwara State, Ustaz Haruna Ahmed has charged muslims to always express gratitude to Allah irrespective of the situstion they are in order to receive more blessing.
The Imam gave the charge in his sermon at the Jumaat service before the two rakat congregation prayer on Friday.
Ahmed stressed that Muslims should thank Allah for everything that comes their way whether good or bad, adding that Allah has reasons for His doings and would not visit His creatures with evil.
“Everything that Allah does is for our good no matter the situation,” the cleric noted.
He advised believers to caution themselves against uttering bad statements when they are faced with life challenges.
” When Muslims lose someone dear to them, they should thank God because there is definitely a reason for it.”
The Ustaz while quoting Prophet Muhammed (S.A.W), said that, any Muslim that thank Allah, will receive more blessing from Him.
Ahmed said that when Muslims thank Allah when they experience bad situations, Allah will repay such person with good and anybody that show gratitude when something good happens to him will surely receive more.
“Almighty Allah entertain and value your thanks giving you offer Him than the Good he give you. God will reward such person in so many ways and he will be blessed more and more” he added.
