The Imam of Akerebiata Central mosque, old Shao Garage area, Ilorin, Ustaz Kamaldeen AbdulKareem has tasked the people especially Muslims not to associate partners with Allah.
He stressed this during Friday sermon (Khutba) at a Juma’at service, adding that, nothing is worth bowing for except Almighty Allah who is the Supreme Being.
According to him, no human can benefit or harm anybody without the decree of almighty Allah who controls every affair.
Abdulakeem stated that, no one should worship or bow down to any other god, except Allah who has no rival.
“Stop worshiping, stones, fire and stop the rituals in the name of looking power. It is only God can give power to anyone who seeks it from Him.”
The Imam advised Muslims to always fear God Almighty and don’t rely on any human being or any creation of God.
AbdulKareem urged Muslims and member of the public to move closer to God Almighty and avoid Shirk for them to meet with the mercy of Allah in this world and hereafter.
While calling on the faithful to always fear God and often return to him by reciting the Qur’an and practice His words in our daily activities, the cleric further urged Muslims to embark on good deeds and help people around them to attract rewards from God.
He called on Muslims to be patient in everything they want saying that God is always with the people who are always patient in their doing and follow the word of Allah has it is stated in the Holy Qur’an.”
