We have more of Olakunle at ABS – Alloy
...says there won't be vacuum …creates opportunities for players to grow

ABS Director of Football, Alloy Chukwuemeka, has said the club has made available players to fill the vacuum created by erstwhile forward Olusegun Olakunle who signed for Danish club last week.
He stated this yesterday while answering questions from our reporter in his office.
According to him,’ ABS FC has a long history of well structured recruitments processes that the departure of any players wouldn’t have much effect on the club.’
You will recall that ABS Ilorin FC forward, Olakunle Olusegun joined Boldklubben Fremad Amager, a Danish professional football club based in the district of Amager Vest, Copenhagen, in an undisclosed fee in a long term contract.
“Kunle has been with us since 2017. We are delighted to see that Olusegun is progressing very well and we are very happy to be part of this.
“We are talent developer, hence the reason we recruited a lot young players that ordinary Nigerian club sides won’t give a chance.
“There are players like Muri Dagbo, Sufian Bello, Samuel Bamigboye, David Okoromi among others that in few years they can be better than Kunle.
“I’m confident that the likes of Samuel Bamigboye and David Okoromi are capable enough to fill the vacuum left by Olakunle Olusegun,” Alloy noted.
He added that ABS FC is fully set for the take off of the new season as everything have been put in place to kick start the NNL season.
Alloy confirmed that the player had been sent to FDC Vista of Russia since 2019 before his move to Fremad Amager.
However, Olusegun has expressed his delight at the move shortly after his unveiling on Tuesday last week.
“I already know several of the players, and in addition I have almost just met them all in Turkey. I have talked a lot with Sodiq and Sammy, and they have prepared me for life in Denmark.
“Both the country and the club seem like a perfect solution to me and therefore it was an easy choice. I’m looking forward to making my debut, and it would be great if it happens tonight,” Kunle said.
