Ramadan: Saraki leads congregational prayer, attends tafsir in Ilorin
...makes N10m donation to mosque project

As the Ramadan is winding up, President of the eighth Senate , Dr. Bukola Saraki has returned to Ilorin to observe the latter part of the Muslim fast.
He disclosed this in a tweet on his Twitter handle, few days ago.
He tweeted: “Although it was my wish to spend the last 10 days of Ramadan in Saudi Arabia for the Lesser Hajj, with the #COVID19 situation, I have decided to spend this special period of the Holy Month at home in Ilorin.
As these 10 days are devoted to prayers, may Almighty Allah (SWT) accept all our supplications and fasting. May He also heal and bless our country.”
Saraki , who arrived in Ilorin on Monday,
apart from leading congregational prayers at his GRA residence, he was also at Imam Gambari’s tafsir session at the Gambari Mosque, Ilorin on Friday, 7 May 2021.
The former Senate President also made a donation of N10million to support the Gambari Mosque project.
“Earlier today, it was an absolute pleasure to attend Imam Gambari’s tafsir session at the Gambari Mosque in Ilorin.
“Following the tafsir session, in-line with my commitment to see that the mosque is completed, I made a donation of N10million towards the construction project,” he tweeted on Friday.
