Kwara Speaker congratulates Muslims

The Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ali Ahmad has congratulated Muslims on the successful completion of the 1440 AH Ramadan fast.
Ahmad said that efforts must be made by every Muslim towards sustenance of the holy month’s virtues, values and lessons learnt.
This is contained in the Speaker’s eid-el-fitr congratulatory message issued by his Media Aide, Shuaib Abdulkadir, stressing that it was very essential as it would have great and positive impact in their individual lives and the society at large.
He said that though the Eid-el-fitr marks the end of the long-month fasting from dawn to dusk, Muslims must however be challenged to proof to the world what Islam preaches by carrying on their normal lives as it were during Ramadan.
The Speaker said that the free love shared and kindness being experienced in every neighbourhood must be sustained after the sacred month for the benefit of all and sundry.
While the Eid-el-fitr marks the end of Ramadan and a day of celebration, he reminded that it is very pertinent modesty must be applied in the course of celebration.
The Speaker who sued for peaceful Eid-el-adha, prayed Allah to accept the good deeds of every Muslims who fasted in the month and as well sought for Allah’s forgiveness on transgressions and sins committed.
Ahmad further enjoined Muslims to use the occasion to pray for the nation to overcome the security challenges being experienced in the nooks and crannies of the country and peace and tranquility to reign supremely.
