Provost advises students to be brothers’ keeper

As security challenges in the country keep aggravating an academician and vibrant scholar, Imam Abubakar Ayinla, Provost, Kwara State College of Nursing, Ilorin has admonished its staff and students to continue to be their brothersโ€™ keeper at all times.
The Provost stated that the need for staff and students to go about with their identification cards becomes highly imperative, watch the type of friends you keep, avoid late night travels/visiting/waking alone, shun cultism indecent dressing, stay calmly in their hostels and avoid loitering about aimlessly.
The College administrator while advising his students said, they all need to be concerned about their safety, try and observed strict security protocols together with prayers. Stay in peace, never fight anyone, beware of transferred aggression. He added that they should isolate themselves from disturbances, move away from being provoked. He charged them to face their primary assignment in the College, study hard to achieve success and make their families proud of them.
Mallam Imam Abubakar Ayinla advised staff to stay put at their duty post and render selfless services to students and employer, “Let us shun any act of lateness, indolence, rumour mongering, backbiting etc. Let’s justify the kindness of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq administration since inception”.
The Provost assured that Kwara State Government will continue to provide enabling environment for teaching, learning and research work to its fullest, thereby benefitting students, staff and the entire College community. He assured saying, โ€œI am stoically committed to take this College to a commendable height with the understanding of the Governing Council and the supervisory ministry, he concluded.โ€
