The People Democratic Party kwara state chapter have rejoice with the christians in the state and across the nation as they celebrate Easter festival.
The Party wished all the celebrants happy and safe Easter celebration.
This was made known in the press statement released and signed by the party chairman, Honourable Babatunde Muhammed (Rt) which was made available to newsmen on Monday that,”As we celebrate the ascension of Jesus Christ over immense suffering and death today, we should be reminded of the long suffering and perseverance of the saviour before his glorious ascension”.
According to him, “Nigerians and indeed Kwarans have persevered long under various uncomfortable & unpleasant government policies, we should be assured that there is still hope of great times to come.”
He noted that after a long dark night, light must surely come at dawn
Muhammed explained, that, “In all situations our faith in God remains unshaken, since the Christ can overcome death, so can we overcome bad governance”.
