The forum of ex lawmakers of the Kwara State House of Assembly has expressed sadness over the passing of Hon. Al-hassan Ibrahim Bagidi, whose death occurred in Ilorin in the early hours of Thursday, 27th July, 2023, following a brief illness.
Late Hon. Bagidi was a great community leader who dedicated his entire life to the service of humanity.
The forum, in a press release, jointly signed by the forum’s chairman and secretary, Hon. (Dr.) Abraham Ashaolu and Hon. Bola Mogaji, respectively, described late Hon. Bagidi as a God-fearing man.
“While serving as member, KWHA between 2003 and 2011, he advanced the course of parliamentary democracy in the State and distinguished himself as a true Nigerian. He also served as a member, Board of Directors, Kebbi/Sokoto River Basin Authority, and until his death, he was the Talban Kaiama and village head of Gwanagizi in Kaiama local government area of the State”, the release added.
The release commiserated with the Kaiama Emirate and the deceased’s immediate family on the passing of their patriarch and prayed God to grant them the fortitude to bear the great loss. Just as it prayed God to admit the deceased into the best of Paradise.
