2019: Emir’s daughter rallies support for Saraki, Ahmed

The daughter of the Emir of Ilorin and newly appointed Senior Special Assistant to Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed on Poverty Alleviation, Hajia Aisha Sulu-Gambari has rallied support for the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki and Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed as the 2019 general elections approach.
Aisha stated this in Ilorin while speaking at a thanksgiving prayer to honour Saraki and Governor Ahmed over her appointment.
Hajia Sulu-Gambari stressed the need for the people of the state to give more support to the leader of the All Progressives Congress in the state, Dr Saraki and Governor Ahmed in the interest of overall development of the state.
The governor’s aide said she would ensure that children of school age were off the street for them to be educated as a way of liberating them from shackles of poverty and ignorance.
She promised to facilitate soft loans and cash grant for traders to boost their businesses and employment opportunities for youths in the state.
She described women participation in politics in the state as very encouraging and urged them to do more to ensure the dividends of democracy reach the nooks and crannies of the state.
Leading the prayer, the Imam Ojude Oba mosque, Imam Badir-ul-Deen Yusuf prayed for Allah’s protection and guidance for the SSA on Poverty Alleviation during and after her tenure in office.
The Muslim leader also prayed for the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, Dr Saraki,  Governor Ahmed, Kwara State in particular and Nigeria at large.
