Christians cautioned against unfulfilled promises
...reminded of Jesus' 2nd coming

Pastor Taiye Aransiola of the United Evangelical Miracle Church, Off
Yidi Road Ilorin, Kwara State has urged Christians to always keep to
their promises.
He gave the charge in his message titled “Keep your promises”, on
Sunday, explaining that to be considered as a person of integrity,
people must ensure that they don’t let others down.
Pastor Aransiola urged the people not to be hasty in making promises,
adding that believers should emulate their maker who is a covenant
keeping God.
In his sermon, the Founder, Believers’ Vineyard Church, Agbo-oba,
llorin, Kwara State, Pastor Akin Obadofin charged Nigerians regardless
of their religious and political backgrounds to always be their
brothers’ keeper for a better society.
Pastor Obadofin who gave the charge yesterday in his sermon, said
nothing meaningful could be achieved in a place devoid of peace.
The Cleric stressed the need for the people to coexist peacefully for
peace and development to take place in the nation at large.
Pastor Aremu Abioye of the Ark of God Covenant Faith Bible Ministry,
Amoyo, in his message on anointing for breakthrough, urged the
congregation to abide by their heavenly father’s will to see them
through in life.
In his message at this year’s anniversary of Fogo Oluwahan Band of the
New Life Holy Trinity Chapel, Gaa-Akanbi, Ilorin, yesterday, Pastor
ldowu Constain appealed to Christians to continue to lead as shinning
example for others to follow, adding that this would also help in the
spread of the gospel of Jesus Christ to the world.

The Minister-in-Charge of ECWA Osere, Ilorin, Kwara State, Reverend
Steve Fatoye, has urged Christians to be prepared for the second
coming of Jesus Christ.
He gave the charge in his exhortation yesterday at the 54th
anniversary service of Gospel Songs of First ECWA, Ilorin, with the
theme “The name that cannot perish”.
The cleric stressed the need for believers to life holy life in order
to reign with Christ in the hereafter.
Reverend Fatoye, then, called on people to accept Jesus Christ as
their Lord and saviour as He is the only name that can never perish.
Earlier, the state Deputy Governor, Mr. Kayode Alabi called on the
people to fear God and always support the government with prayer for
it to succeed.
He reiterated the state government determination to transform the
state and make life meaningful for the people.
The service was attended by a member of the Kwara State House of
Assembly, Mr Awolola Ayokunle, Members of the State Security Council,
Permanent Secretaries, and traditional rulers from within and outside
the State.
