Some prominent Youth Leaders in Kwara State has joined the state chapter of Young Progressives Party (YPP).
In a statement made available to newsmen by the State Publicity Secretary of YPP Abdulrazaq Sulaiman Oyan, the party welcomes the former Special Assistant to the Minister of State for Transportation Barr. Titilope Anifowose, former Technical Assistant to Commissioner of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Mr Mikail Olamilekan, Former Senate President of National Association of Kwara State Students NAKSS Comr. Abdulazeez Ahmad El-immam and other progressive young people into the Party.
In his words “ We are glad to welcome our sister Barr. Titilope Anifowose, our brothers Mikail Olamilekan, Comr. Abdulazeez Ahmad El-Immam and their progressives team to our party. We hope that other progressive Kwarans would see the light and join us to work for the enthronement of good leaders in the State for a greater Kwara.
Oyan said, YPP’s membership e-registration exercise would soon start, and would be technology driven to reach all the nooks and crannies of Kwara State. This would enable numerous compatriots in Kwara State the opportunity to join YPP with ease, and in compliance with COVID-19 safety protocols.
He said YPP is a party that supports internal democracy and gives room for the growth and development of its members, and by extension the community.
