Hon Popoola assault: He was never beaten,stabbed,lawmaker quashes rumour

Prince Saheed Popoola the lawmaker representing Ojomu-Balogun Constituency, Kwara State House of Assembly who said to have been a victim of an assault has described the rumour as untrue,baseless and frivolous.
This was disclosed in a statement made by Popoola’s media aide, Prince Abimbola Adesemowo in Ilorin,noting that no incident of gang beating of the lawmaker was recorded.
It was recently reported that the legislator was a victim of gang beating after his weekly Programme at the gate of Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Harmony FM, Idofian.
Adesemowo noted that there was never an incident of clash of Political Thugs at the gate of the station before, during and after the his weekly Programme
stressng that no fight had ensued between the supporters of Prince Popoola and other political rivalries as no injury was unleashed on the lawmaker and supporters
Adding that Prince Popoola was never beaten nor stabbed talk more of being in a state of coma as it was widely rumoured.
Adesemowo further stated that the lawmaker is hail and hearty and not receiving treatment in any facility within or outside the state.
