Colleagues hate me because I’m Jide Kosoko’s daughter

Yoruba actress, Bidemi Kosoko has said she endured beef from some of her colleagues because she is the daughter of famous Yoruba actor Jide Kosoko while her late stepmother; Henrietta Kosoko was the president of Association of Theatre Arts.
In a recent interview, Bidemi, who is a very good actress and is certainly the true heir to her father’s acting legacy, said there are perks and disadvantage to being daughter of the veteran actor.
The actress, however, said she doesn’t care about the negative attitude directed at her, adding that it is because upcoming actors feel she’s hiding under her father’s shadow,
“They probably do not understand the hard work I invest in this craft and not that I get roles because of my father sake but individual contribution,” she explained.
