16 rural communities to benefit KWSCDA intervention

 

Following the approval by Kwara State Government, Oloro-Oja community in Asa Local Government Area of Kwara State, alongside 15 other rural communities will benefit from Kwara State Community and Social Development Project (KWCSDP), to enable them achieve their dream of implementing their choice projects.
This was disclosed by the Acting General Manager, Kwara State Community and Social Development Agency (KWCSDA), Alhaji Yahaya Ahmed in Ilorin at the weekend, while briefing the press on training workshop for Community Project Management Committee (CPMC) and Sub-Committees of another 16 benefiting communities, in the state.
Alhaji Ahmed who recalled that Oloro-Oja community once lamented during a radio interaction programme that their community was yet to benefit from government, said the training based on the ”Roles and Responsibilities in Community Project Implementation and Management” has been scheduled for committee members from Tuesday 5th to Wednesday 6th December, 2017 at Folusho Hall, old Jebba road, Sango, Ilorin, beginning at 8 am.
According to Ahmed, the training session would be declared open by the Commissioner for Planning and Economic Development, Alhaji Wasiu Odewale.
The Acting General Manager therefore urged participants from Gulufu, Gede-Woro, Lata-Nna, Ijomu-Oro, Ahun, Oke-Atan, Idi-Ose and Elega, as well as Owode-Ofaro, Igbo-Owu, Ifedawapo, Oke-Agbede, Eleko, Oloro-oja, Aladere-Mogaji and Oluode Aluwo communities in Edu, Lafiaji, Irepodun, Ifelodun, Ilorin West, Oyun, Asa and Offa Local Government respectively, to be punctual for the registration.
