Omolade Mary Olaofe hails from Shao, Moro Local Government Area of Kwara State.
Her strong passion for music made her jettison education to venture into music even at a tender age. She has today made her name in her chosen career through her type of music which has gained so much public acceptance.
Today, Olaofe has produced a number of musical albums which are yet to be released.
She said, “I’ve loved everything about music from my tender age, I have had to sneak out of school on different occasions to listen to music on the street.
“When I started, there was no sponsor, but I was not discouraged hoping that one day, things will change for the better. Up till now, I don’t have sponsor.
“I thank God for where I am today, but, we need help, we need government and private individuals’ support so that music can get its place in the scheme of things in Kwara State. I’m getting so much fulfillment and joy doing the music, this is more than momentary gains for me,” she added.
