Expert advice spur me into business – CEO of Precision Design Consult

The Chief Executive Officer, Precision Design Consult, Mr. Ogunleye Folajimi had the penchant for computer engineering and design after obtaining his secondary school certificate. It was with the spirit of building, electrical, mechanical drawings, and graphic design that made him venture into architecture.
While he decided to take the bull by the horns to further his studies at Kwara State Polytechnic on the basis of an expert’s advice, he was hitherto not abreast of what architecture is all about.
“During my secondary school days, I don’t think I have ever heard of something like architecture. But after my secondary school education, I went into computer engineering and design. An expert advice spurred me to further my studies and go for architecture. That was how I was motivated to opt for the course in higher institution,” he said.
He also stated that his interest in construction Mathematics was another reason why he ventured into architecture because it involves both art and science, calculation and creativity.
“When it comes to construction in Mathematics am good at it. Not knowing that it is not all about construction Mathematics. I later realised that it has to do with both art and science, calculation and creativity. Because of my interest in Mathematics that was one of the reasons I ventured into architecture,” he revealed.
On how he got his capital to start his business, Folajimi noted that while he was on Industrial Training (IT), he worked for some clients who paid him less for job done than what is obtained in a standard organisation. He was able to save some money back then in order to establish his business.
He therefore, advised unemployed graduates to think outside the box and look at what they can do to help themselves instead of looking around for job that is not available.
