I bought my first car before I gained varsity admission – CEO, Lumex Tutor Ltd

 

The passion for business is what brought Mr. Agboola Olumide Olatayo, the Chief Executive Officer Lumex Tutor into the world of entrepreneurship.
According to him, “I started my business with no capital, but with the zeal and passion to do what I know how to do best”.
“After my A level, I decided to organise tutorial classes for secondary school leavers as I awaited university Admission. But, as God would have it, the business grew like a set of tunnel of fire as I bought my first car even before I got admitted into the university”, Agboola explain.
Today, Agboola, Economics graduate of the University of Ilorin, has excelled in his enterprise.
His business has grown from coaching centre to a full-fledged school; Lumex International College.
“Though the job is full of thick and thins as I had severally been arrested and locked up over inability to get my IJMB students registered for an examination”.
He advised youths to believe in themselves and take advantage of virgin entrepreneurial sector in Nigeria.
“There is no white collar job anywhere, it is only available in my dictionary”.
He urged people not to see lack of capital as a yardstick not to go into business, saying, “money is not the first consideration in business.”
