The National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), John Oyegun, yesterday, met with the Senate President Bukola Saraki and the party senate’s caucus.
Oyegun was at the national assembly with members of the party’s national working committee (NWC).
Speaking before they went into a closed-door meeting on Wednesday, Oyegun said they are at the national assembly to “talk, listen and strategise” ahead of the 2019 elections.
The APC chairman said “issues” will be discussed at the meeting.
“We are here to discuss issues, that we are in election in less than a year,” Oyegun said.
“We are here to talk, listen and strategise on the best way leading to February 2019.”
Oyegun also condoled with the lawmakers over the demise of Ali Wakili, senator representing Bauchi south.
