Kwara United onform right winger, Stephen Alfred and other three Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) players have been shortlisted for the VAT wonder goal award.
The Harmony Boys prolific striker has scored seven goals in the 207/18 NPFL and become of the toast of other big club like Enyimba, Kanu Pillars and big clubs.
The goals in contention for the weekly award are from Sunshine Stars’ Sikiru Alimi, Ibrahim Alassan of Kano Pillars, Chijioke Alakwe of FC Ifeanyi Ubah.
The clash between Ifeanyi Ubah and Sunshine Stars accounted for two of the four goals shortlisted.
Voting for the VAT wonder goal award will end at midnight on Wednesday, April 18.
The VAT wonder goal award is an initiative of the League Management Company (LMC) supported by the Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS).
The objective of the award is to promote NPFL community engagement and drive the tax education campaign of the FIRS among football fans.
