A three term lawmaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Ahman-Pategi has assured Kwarans that he has what it takes to contest for the Kwara governorship seat in the state.
The PDP governorship aspirant said this at the formal declaration of his 2019 guber ambition held at the stadium complex, Ilorin.
Pategi who said it was the turn of Kwara North to produce the next governor submitted that he is highly experienced politically among other contestants to provide needed leadership for Kwarans.
He said the number of governorship contestants in the party was reflective of PDP democratic tenets and called on the people to support his ambition.
According to him, he had consulted widely among stakeholders prior to his formalย declaration adding that he has a lot to offer for the development of the state.
He said his administration would focus on six points agenda, which include agriculture, health, education, employment generation, women and youth development and maintenance of infrastructure if entrusted with the mandate of the people.
“If I secure the mandate, I will put the people first. To realise our core objectives, my administration will employ innovative and efficient protocols, which will ensure effective delivery of services to the people.
A former state Head of Service, Alhaji Dabarako Mohammed, urged the people to support the aspiration of the governorship aspirant, saying he’s known to be very reliable.
