Opposition will not win a singly elective office in Kwara – Commissioner

Despite their boast of federal might and being the ruling government in power at the centre, the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) will not win a single elective seat in Kwara in the forthcoming 2019 election.

The Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Science and Technology, Barrister Abdullahi Alikinla stated this during a courtesy visit to the Director General Mandate Constituency Office, Alhaji Musa Abdullahi in his office.

He described the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki as a political leader whose pedigree will continue to soar in the political circles in the state.

According to him, the Saraki dynasty remained the cynosure of political dynasties that has produce many political disciples and will remain at all times as far as Kwara state political coast is concern.

He said seasonal politicians who come and go after losing election have no base and place in the Kwara adding that opposition party will not win any elective office in Kwara come 2019.

“I pledge to work for the success of our party, the PDP in all the elections come 2019 in sincere appreciation to our leader, the Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Dr. Bukola Saraki.

“For finding me worthy of state appointment at this time, I remained fully loyal to the structure of our leader,” he said.

Alikinla further urged all Kwarans, the stakeholders of the party and party members to disregard the rumors being peddled around by detractors and enemy of progress who cannot deliver their polling booth that the PDP will be defeated in Kwara.

He however commended the inclusiveness and transparency in the recent PDP primary election in the state that produced Hon Razak Atunwa.
