Brandt 50-50 to stay with Bayer

Julian Brandt has a “50-50” chance of remaining on the books at Bayer Leverkusen according to the club’s managing director, per SportBuzzer.
Rudi Voller believes the Germanyinternational is just as likely to stay as he is to leave, following the side’s fourth-place finish in the Bundesliga.
They will compete in the Champions League next season but Brandt could yet switch to a rival club, with Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Tottenham Hotspur among those interested.

 


Gunners train sights on Claude-Maurice

Arsenal are hoping to beat out newly promoted Norwich to the signature of French youngster Alexis Claude-Maurice, says the Mirror.
The Gunners are thought to be keen on the 20-year-old striker, who has caught the eye of multiple sides.
Currently with Lorient, Claude-Maurice is a youth international for Les Bleus.

 


Milan eye up Mustafi

Milan are mulling over a move for Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi as a replacement for Cristian Zapata, according to Calciomercato.
The Serie A side are thought to be considering whether to make an offer for the German, who has arguably failed to ignite under Unai Emery.
Zapata meanwhile looks set to exit San Siro after he was not offered fresh terms.

 


Man United still after Onana

Manchester United are still looking to sign Andre Onana from Ajax as a prospective replacement for David De Gea, though their efforts may be fruitless, reports the Daily Record.
The Red Devils have been chasing the Cameroon international alongside team-mate Matthijs de Ligt, hoping to tempt them to Old Trafford.
But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side look like they will have to search elsewhere in their quest for new recruits.

Thorgan Hazard has cited Axel Witsel’s influence as being key to securing his move to Borussia Dortmund, the Belgium international told Eleven Sports.
The 26-year-old joins the Bundesliga outfit from rivals Borussia Monchengladbach and has singled out his international team-mate as a leading factor behind the switch.
“He’s a player who will be there to help me integrate,” the winger stated. “It’s good that there is someone I know there.”

Roma stalwart Daniele De Rossi could be set for a switch to South America and Boca Juniors after he brings down the curtain on his Serie A career, says Sky Sports News.
The Argentine side are hopeful of snaring the midfielder after it was revealed that he will not be offered fresh terms in the Italian capital.
Boca sporting director Nicolas Burdisso spent almost five seasons alongside De Rossi and is hopeful of tempting him to a new adventure in another part of the world.

 


Valverde plays down immediate Griezmann deal

Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde has dampened immediate speculation of a move for Antoine Griezmann, stating that the club is unlikely to conduct any business until after the Copa del Reyfinal, according to Sky Sports News.
The Atletico Madrid man announced his exit from the La Liga outfit earlier this week and looks almost certain to head to Camp Nou, albeit with a pay cut.
But Valverde says there will be no movement for the World Cup-winning Frenchman or any other player until the marquee tie with Valencia next Saturday is over.

 


Everton after ex-Terrier Lossl

Everton are hopeful of securing former Huddersfield Town goalkeeper Jonas Lossl following his release in the wake of the Terriers’ relegation from the Premier League, per Sky Sports News.
The Denmark international spent two years in the Premier League with the West Yorkshire side but is among a number of players not retained for their future in the Championship.
He would likely line up as second-choice cover for Jordan Pickford, replacing Maarten Stekelenburg who is set to leave Goodison Park.

 


Pogba needs to hand in transfer request for Man Utd exit

The France star has been told this is his only chance to move to Real Madrid
Paul Pogba will be required to hand in a formal transfer request if he is to leave Manchester United for Real Madrid, according to the Sun.
The France star wants out and Real coach Zinedine Zidane has told Pogba he must move this summer if he is to ever join the Liga giants.
However, United will resist any offers, so if Pogba wishes to leave, he will be required to formally demand an exit.
