I started my business with N3,000 — CEO, Wise Choice

The Chief Executive Officer of Wise Choice, ย Alhaja Adenike Abdulkareem Lambe has advised the Nigerian youth to embrace entrepreneurship in order to be self reliant
She said no amount is too small to start up a business.
Lambe while speaking with Pilot Business recently divulged that she ย started her business with paltry sum of N3,000.
The Wise Choice boss divulged further that she started her business in the year 1981 dealing in sales of clothes at Gegele area of Ilorin, ย Kwara State.
Lambe said ย that she resigned after 25 years ย as a local government ย worker to start business of her own.
“I was born into a business family as my mother was the Iyaloja of Owode market in Offa. Despite the fact that I served under my mother and I knew how to go about business, when I started my business, things were difficult for me but with endurance ย things later turned ย out good for me.
“In every business there is risk. I started travelling ย to Togo and Ghana to buy cloths in 1981 sometimes custom will collect our goods. But now I buy my goods within Nigeria.”
She advised youth to be honest in their business ย dealings and endure no matter the difficulties they are facing, adding that gradually their ย enterprise will grow.
“Don’t wait until you get huge amount of money before starting business. You can start your business with N5,000 by selling liquid soap among others before you know it, people will know you with the product. Package your product well and make it attractive to people,” she advised.
