‘It took 3yrs to repay loan taken from friend to start business’

 

Frustrated by his inability to secure a job after school, Mr. Kunle Adeleke, the CEO, Quality Phones and Gadgets in Ilorin, Kwara State decided to take up business to make ends meet.
Today, his enterprise has become a household name in the state capital given the quality of services he offers to his customers. He has come to  be known for his dexterity in phone repairs.
“After my service year, I struggled hard to secure a job to no avail. A friend advised me to take to phone repair and business and he gave me a loan of N100, 000 to start the enterprise.   It took me three years to repay the loan,” he disclosed.
Adeleke, a Business Administration graduate of Kwara State Polytechnics has opened branches of his business in the nooks and crannies of Ilorin.
He attributed his success in the business to resilience and perseverance, just as he advised youths to brace up to challenges, urging them to be self reliant and stop endless search for limited white collar job.
“If you want to start a business, the first thing you need is not money; but a zeal and passion,” he further advised.
