Customer relations, my selling point

Comrade Toyin Abojumeji is the Chief Executive Officer of Abojumeji Engine Oil Dealer.
He believes that customers deserves the best and according to him this policy has helped him excel in his business.
To survive in the highly competitive market, the entrepreneur said he ensure quality service to customers.
On his foray into the business world, Abojumeji said he resigned from Kwara civil service in 1988 to start his enterprise.
The business man said he has no regret taking the decision.
The CEO said he used to buy drums of engine oil, kerosene and premium motor spirit from Mobil and Total filling stations with smaller amount.
He, however, lamented the inability of potential businessmen to raise capital to start up viable venture.
“With my years of experience in this business I have trained several apprentices and still training them to assist government to reduce unemployment rate in the society. If the state government can empower me with loan, the business will expand and the benefit will not be limited to me and my family but the entire community.
“For instance, most of the apprentice apply to just learn how to buy and sell engine oil, but we teach them everything in that category including motor parts,” he added
According to him, engine oil business requires experience, saying that any amateur that goes into the business without tutelage might be risking his capital.
However, he called on the youths to be more creative and focus on vocational/technical training which will help them attain self reliance.
Abojumeji is also the General Secretary of Engine Lubricant Dealers Kwara chapter as well as the Secretary of Ajikobi Ward Development Association.
