The Kwara State Independent Electoral Commission (KWSIEC) has assured that it will commence payment of Ad-Hoc staff engaged by the commission for the exercise next week.
In a statement forwarded to the Pilot Politics late last night and signed by its Press Secretary, Solomon Akanbi, KWSIEC said it regret any inconvenience being the delay might have caused.
It assured that everything is being done to ensure seamless payment.
The statement reads:
“This is to notify all those who participated in the Ad-hoc job during the 2017 Kwara state chairmanship and councillorship election held on 18th November, 2017, that the payment for their entitlement will be made next week.
“They commission regrets any inconvenience caused as a result of the delay in the payment and assures that necessary machinery is being put in place to ensure uninterrupted and seamless payment”.
