200 APC members decamp to PDP in Ilorin

No fewer than 200 members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Alanamu Ward, Ilorin West local government area of kwara state have decamped to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
Leading the decampees yesterday, the Coordinator of Akeyede Youth Development Association, Mallam Yusuf Imam-Akeyede described the APC as a party without ideology stressing that it has nothing to offer the masses before, during and after the forthcoming general elections.
Mallam Imam-Akoeyede said ” haven experienced both APC and PDP, it is only the PDP that has good human developmental ideologies for the common masses.
He called on Kwarans to join hands with the leader of the party, Dr Bukola Saraki to accelerate more development in the state.
Earlier, one of the stakeholders in Alanamu ward, Alhaji Hameed Olufadi called on the decampees to work with the party leader in the state and Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed and all the stakeholders, particularly in Alanamu ward to move the state forward.
Alhaji Olufadi enjoined Nigerians to ensure they vote APC out of government to give way for PDP to restore the country back in all spheres of life for its peace, unity and development.
The PDP chairman in Ilorin West local government area of the state, Alhaji Haminullahi Baba-Akota appreciated the decampees for the decision to dump the APC and assured them of the success of the party during the forthcoming general elections.
Receiving the decampees, the PDP ward chairman in Alanamu, Alhaji Abdullahi Amosa-Olonde thanked them for taking the bold steps to join the party in the ward and prayed for the victory at the general elections in the state.
Alhaji Amosa-Olonde urged the decampees to associate and integrate with other party members towards the party’s success adding that they will be treated as integral part of the party hence forth
The programme was attended by party stalwarts, members of Peoples Democratic Party in the state including the Coordinator, Kwara Youth Unity Forum, comrade Shafi Ismail Alada and Alhaji Adisa Aladie.
