Cabinet: Look inward, PDP women leader tells Gov Abdulrazaq

A special prayer was yesterday organised for the former Senate
President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr Bukola Saraki to seek
Almighty Allah’s wisdom for him and the requisite strength to lead the
party forward.
The prayer was organised by the Kwara State Women Elder’s of the
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ilorin-West Local Government Area,
held at the party’s secretarial, Agbo-Oba, Ilorin.
Leading the prayer, Mufasir Ahmed Magaji-Abemi said the prayer was
organised to seek Allah’s guidance for Saraki to pilot the affairs of
the party to greater heights.
In an interview with newsmen shortly after, the PDP State Woman
Leader, Hajia Ramat Oganija said “today is a special day to organized
special prayer for our special leader, Dr Bukola Saraki to ask Allah’s
guidance and protection at all times for him.
Hajia Oganija said prayer is the weapon of all human beings
particularly we Muslims adding that it has become necessary to ask
Allah to bring development, growth and peaceful co-existence to the
state.
Speaking on the list of commissioner-nominees forwarded to the State
House of Assembly by the Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, the State
PDP Women Leader urged the Governor to look inward and elect those who
struggled for the party during the election that are ready to add
value to the government’s programmes and policies.
The prayer was attended by PDP stalwarts and members of the party
including the Director General, Mandate Office, Alhaji Musa Abdullahi,
Alhaja Ayinke Saka and Alhaja Joke Falilat.
