Provost charges staff, student on peaceful co-existence

 

The Provost of Kwara State College of Nursing and Midwifery, Ilorin, Mallam Imam Abubakar Ayinla, has charged staff and students of the institution to do everything possible to advance peaceful co-existence on campus.
He also urged then to strengthen enabling environment for teaching and learning which will lead aide availability of nurses and midwifes that will boost the specialised health sector of the nation.
In a press release signed by the provost, the staff (academic and non-academic), were admonished to be proactive and deliver on their mandate of imparting knowledge and discipline to students, while non teaching staff should continue to be punctual and work hard at all times.
He assured that the management is committed to providing necessary incentives to make them function in a peaceful, decent and secured environment.
He said “Under my able leadership, we shall continue to provide infrastructures on campus to smoothen our daily activities, our academic staffs are up and doing in their professional callings/postings, we are working hard to expand the internally generated revenue (IGR) and attending to other sundry issues with dispatch”, the provost assured.
He appealed to students to embrace dialogue and mutual understanding in resolving matters of general interest and be God conscious adding that “our road map to success is sacrosanct and we are leaving no stone unturned in achieving it with the Commissioner for Tertiary, Hajia Saadatu Moddibo Kawu as our captain”
He acknowledged the active support of the management and principal officers for making the achievements so far attained possible and promised to continue to justify the high confidence reposed in him.
He appreciated the Commissioner for her open door policies and fostering new team spirit in the system.
