For the very first time, legendary Nigerian singer, Innocent Idibia popularly known as 2baba, has revealed that having multiple baby mamas at a very young age affected him psychologically.
The singer revealed that it almost made him suffer depression. The African Queen singer made this revelation during an interview he and his wife, Annie, granted a celebrity magazine, Genevieve, for their December edition.
The couple spoke extensively about their marriage, career and 2baba’s many children.
The singer revealed what he had to suffer for his unpremeditated actions that resulted in the many children from three women at a young age. He said he almost relapse into depression.
“Having so many children from different women at such a young age almost sent me into depression. I drank a lot because people laughed at me and called me names. Nobody cared that I was an artiste or that I had worked so hard.”
2baba has seven children from three mothers. He had three with Pero Adeniyi, two with Sunmbo Ajaba-Adeoye and two from his legally married wife, Annie, who had been his long-time girlfriend.
His song African Queen was specially dedicated to her. Though their relationship suffered a lot of crisis due to the singer’s impregnating his baby mamas, the couple eventually tied the knot in Dubai in 2013.
